EKOCYCLE is the result of's passion to inspire brands to recycle manufacturing by-products into high fashion apparel and accessories. Current selection includes sharp men's suits with slim fit and dropped crotch trouser options, Beats (by Dre) Headphones, Levi's jeans and Adidas sneakers.  The site turned out to be only the beginning, since the brand has already gained enough traction to open a Fifth Avenue shop in NYC right in time for the holidays! Although still shrouded in scaffolding, the windows of the 55th st and 5th ave corner are wrapped in EKOCYCLE visuals.

 Oscars Red Carpet was lit up by Missi Pyle (a co-star in the best picture nominee “The Artist”) wearing a stunning turquoise dress that could set a new eco-friendly trend. The gown is the winner of the third annual Red Carpet Green Dress design contest, a competition created by Suzy Amis Cameron (the wife of "Avatar" and "Titanic" director James Cameron), and an ardent environmentalist. The Green Shows during the New York Fashion week proved that Fall 2012 will be anything but dull. Despite the limitations of using organic fabrics, natural dyes, vintage hardware and local manufacturing, eco designers created  collections vibrant in color, print and design. Eco-fashion can no longer be separated from the tech that is making it possible: the featured designers used zero-waste seamless knitting technology and nonpolluting Air Dye technology among numerous others.
